did you use a torque wrench when torquing down everything to spec during the install?

man that sucks. hope you get everything all taken care of.

I know its not Jun cams, but I know someone that may have a new set of RS Machine cams, just the Exhaust only.. Brand new. if interested in that let me know.

i'd definatley call jun and tell them about it... you might luck out and they'll send you a new cam or something. i mean its the least they could do for a cam snapping after 76 miles.

i think you ought to wait and see what jun does
because if i spent that much money on a set of
cams for them to break in like two days of
driving i would be pissed as hell.

that is just my two cents

no way man, keep getting in touch with them, thats what companies do, ignore you until you annoy them enough. thats not acceptable for it to break that new. keep on them and hopefully you'll get better results, just have to talk to the right people

i'd think they'd offer a warranty on such a critical/expensive part. i would be pissed if anything i bought broke that soon.

yeah its pretty shitty. i torqued them to honda specs. it broke at where the cam gear mounts. it looks like it was a default. i've done many cam swaps and this was the only one that ever snap.(knock on wood) but all i can do is keep emailing jun. all i want is a ******* response. but **** IT. I'll copp another cam or set in a second. **** ****** HAPPENS

what about the timing belt???

Was it super *** tight??? Did you go by the bible and check for the correct slack of the belt? Just curious if you did...............cause I've seen OEM cams break cause the t-belt was tighter than a ..........opps, I won't go there.

Plus, its a freaking race part. Race parts will break, wanna go fast, you will break. Don't wanna deal with broken parts, don't touch it!!!
