will toda b's with toda valvesprings and cam gears make the valves hit the pistons?
and if i knock the compression up will it then?

 

PM Hunter, we just built his B16A with B's and about 12.5:1 compression. Yet to start it due to a release bearing issue.

 

what triggered that?

 

I installed it incorrectly.

We started the car tonight, and with about 15 miles on it, theres no detonation or spark knock. No signs of valve clearance problems. I'll keep you posted.

no it will clear evne with 0 deck and 30 thous mill on GSR head.

when you put the 12:5.1 in with the b's did you have to do anything like mill the head or valves?

 

Milled the head .030", with a 2 layer HG, and PCT pistons.

 

what exactly is milling the head
