I HATE RAIN!
So I was drivin the yesterday and didn't see a huge puddle...my CAI sucked in water and now i nbeed a new engine...if anyboyd has a d16z6 engine (no tranny) please please PM me...i need it ASAP
hate, me and my boy washed out cars yesterday, 5hrs later, it rains...

just to add insult to injury, why do you guys insist on driving around
with your "CAI" all year round. Sorry for being a dick, but personally
I think I can loose 5hp to be safe.

true with the bypass valve, but then you get like the same output as a short ram for cheaper.

actually believe it or not...i had a bypass valve that i had just gotten but hadn't installed yet...its ok ill take 99.9% of the blame for this one...the other .1 percent goes to the rain

Thats what happend to me like couple of years aga.
It was raining and a went over a puddle and poof sucked up water and
killed my motor..
I was mad but then happy because it gave me a excuse to get my my b18c1!!
But I learned my lesson with CAI

why do people always think a bypass valve will save your *** all the time? they are just a safeguard, and nowhere does aem give a guarantee.
