Default questions about apexi N1 muffler!

ok, i found this deal for N1 muffler for my civic, actually axle-back for decent price..
for just adding axle-back, will they still make loud noise???.. well, i like the N1 styles but i don't like to get attention when i'm not even try to pick up race, you know what i mean?... so anyone has their cars with axle back only? how is the sound??...

silencer helps but it still draws a lot of attention because of its size.

Spoon Sports N1. Very small tip and muffler, T304 construction, excellent fit, can't get any better than that. Downside? It's very loud for an axle-back. even with the stick-in silencer, it's still pretty loud ... just less droan inside the car, IMO. Here's a thread I made on my newly purchased Spoon N1: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=744041 Also, check out my webpage for more pics and stuff. http://home.pacbell.net/lebui

yeah a resonator will give it a nice deep tone, i got an apex n1 muffler with resonator and custom piping, 2 1/4, sounds good, not too loud

If it's the N1 style that goes underneath the axle and doesnt tuck nicely, don't get it if your car is dropped. You'll just scrape. As previously stated, any N1 is going to be loud, and buying an N1 with intentions of a silencer is stupid, you lose a lot of power. I would say get WS. It's a good exhaust with a very nice tone. It's nice and quiet but when you hit vtec it screams.

my Apexi N1 is purdy damn loud. You can get the silencer but that robs power, open canisters are designed to have better flow than chambered mufflers. This sacrifices noise though.

running a axle back seems point less to me... unless you have bigger piping, which would rule for a spoon axle back. but stock civic piping+axle back=

for my experience, you don't much gain your power with cat-back either,.. why pay over $400-500??.. .. when you stock pipe is still in good condition...

Axleback: It bolts up to your stock midpipe (from the cat back) and you unbolt your stock axleback and it just bolts up like the stock axle back is and again its just the muffler and piping to the axle back only.

Btw: wtf is ''bojacks''

Yes, group buy center has them most of the time. I got mine for $450shipped. Just check group buy center.

Any why pay 400-500 for a cat-back. I got mine because my whole exhaust system was rusted and loud as hell because it had holes in it from rust! It has a nice sound. It looks sexy as hell but it's doesnt have a huge tip. To me the RS*R ex-mag is like buying a oem exhaust. It's just perfect. RS*R claims "it's everything a exhaust should be right from the factory".
