Painting my rims any help?
hey i have some 15's that came on my car, but they're not stock. I'm not sure what they r cuz the caps r gone but i'm pretty sure they're rota's. anyways i want to paint them gunmetal because i'm saving for a CTR engine and i don't want to blow 1000-plus dollars. Do i have to get them powder coated or can i do it myself for the meantime? if i can do it myself can i use spray paint from checker auto and a top coat sealant? if i did that will it look better? I will eventually get rims after the engine but i want to paint these in the mean time. thanks

they do make special rim paint and like fosty said autozone will carry it. it actually comes out looking pretty good too. My club up here in flagstaff has done it tosome f our rims and i looks good.
