Help a dsm guy w/ questions about hondas (not a hater)
Hey i currently own a 96 GST AT but am thinking about getting a 93/94 hb. i have a few questions and i know theyre basic so im just going to put them all in one thread.
1) What's an EG and EK? is that just different generations?
2) Why are delsols and 93+ civic grouped together? Do they have the same engine bay/engine/tranny etc? but just different body?
3) Can i swap an h22a into a delsol or would it be overkill for the lightweight car?
4) What is the most popular swap that everyone gets w/ their civic/ds? Im trying to figure out what swap i'd do (GSR, ITR, h22a etc) and want to know what type of results to expect
thank you for your help. I know these might be basic questions but im really interested.

1. EG = '92-'95 Civic; EK = '96-'00 Civic
I believe those are only JDM chassis codes, though.
2. Basicall just a different body and interior. Same chassis and engines.
3. H22 would be fine, just plan your suspension accordingly.
4. GSR most likely.
Search and you can find out more.

The Del Sol has about an 8" shorter wheel base.
