Default Please help me out major suspension problem

Alright, I have searched to try and find the information that I need but I can't. I ignored all warnings and left my lower control arm bolt in even though I snapped off the head of it. The one I broke was the one that connects to the brake assembly in the rear and commuted on it. Well today I was driving back home and just about made it when I heard a strange noise which sounded like a pop and something dragging and scraping which I thought was a flat tire. I get out of my car and find out my tire is not flat but that the LCA was on the ground. I was lucky to get my car towed and home but only to find out it wasn't the bolt that snapped but the entire assembly. So to put it simple it was not my night. Now I need some advice from anyone willing to help.

My friend will sell my his GSR rear disk brakes and said that will work to fix this knuckle. Should I buy them and get an SI E-brake cable and call it a day or maybe order some GSR LCA's and get the anti-sway bar in the back also ? If there is an easier solution I would love to hear any advise because this is my only means of transportation and I still have school on monday so basically I am screwed right now. Which would be the fastest and also seeming I am a college student which would be the cheapest? I would appreciate any helpful information please. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Also pictures of the busted knuckle will be put up tomorrow seeming it is 2:40 AM here and no light. Thank you again. Please help me.

i'm having a little bit of a hard time understanding your description.
if i'm understanding correctly, part #29 had the head broken off where the LCA bolts to the trailing arm?

so now i'm assuming the rest of thebolt is broken off in the welded on nut in the trailing arm?
if that's so,you can try drilling the rest of the bolt out of the nut,and running a tap thru it.you could also try cutting off the nut,and either using a loose nut,or tacking on a new one.
the GSR disc conversion will work on your car with an Si cable.

Thank you very much for your reply I have pictures now and they will be in this post. Alright you are right part # 29 is the bolt that snapped it's head but the back side of the bolt didn't break off. That would be too lucky for me and luck is not in my favor. Instead of the bolt itself breaking it was the knuckle where the bolt connected to that got completely mangled. Here are the pics to show you.

The broken suspension section is my rear driver's side and here is the pick looking at the front part:

This image shows the good side and the broken side not so clear:

This picture is the same as the second one but alittle more clear:

This image you can see the back of the lower control arm and the good side and how the lower control are luckily stayed on the wheel instead of pulling my entire strut assembly down and ripping that all out:

Here is a link if these images don't work http://members16.clubphoto.com...phtml

Thanks for actually helping out. Seems like everyone has passed me by here.

if all you want is cheap and now, just go to a junkyard and pick up a new one. other than that the disc swap is your next cheapest and best bet.

Should I look into getting some GSR LCA's and the anti-sway bar later? And also is it true that my stock E-Brake line won't reach so I need to get an 99-00 SI cable? Thanks for your help.

I dont buy in to that ebrake cable garbage.
If you end up getting rear discs, try the
cables you get with them. I put 00si
cables on my 92 hatch, so why wouldnt
the civic or integra cables fit on your ek?

well he is getting the rear disc from me and the cables arent there, he is paying me 100 bucks for a good driver rear trailing arm/disc setup with lca and the pass side has bent trailing arm/lca but good disc etc...

we know he has to get gsr rear brake lines, 00 si ebrake cables, and use his stock trailing arm for passenger side and both lca's

Alright now I have another question if anyone can help me. Is there a difference between a GSR rear trailing arm and an EK EX rear trailing arm ? One of the trailing arms is pretty damn beaten up on my passenger side so I was wondering if I could retain my passenger side trailing arm and replace my driver side with the GSR trailing arm ...

Thanks for the help guys.

i know that the trailing arms are interchnagable on those two chassis.everything i've read says that you can bolt the whole rear disc assmebly onto the non-disc trailing arm....so,you should be fine.
