d16z6 swap into a 88 civic std hatch
i am looking into getting a d16z6 engine to do my first swap
im not looking for alot of power gain.. mostly experience
i have read posts where people talk about wiring the vtec heads
also about heat sensor?
and also i've seen mentioning of a distributor mod
i've searched and can't find any info on these topics
what is it im gonna have to do in order to get the Vtec to work right in this 88 hatch?
this will be my frist swap so and tutorials or guides or anything will be appreciated

I apologize i asked my brother to sign me up last night, he was drunk and told me he was "flamin" people, i had no idea what that meant untill i saw what he had posted. I assure you i am here to learn, not to poke fun at people. I apolpgize to the person who started this thread and i will change my password so this doesnt happen again
i did a search of mini me swaps
it only came up with putting the z6 head on a d15 block
im talking about doing a complete d16z6 swap.
i did a search for d16z6 swaps but most of them were fro 92 and up civics
i know it will fit perfectly in the engine bay, i found a diagram for wiring the vtec heads to the ECU but i couldn't find anything o nthe distributor

Depending on which ecu you decide to use with the motor, that will dictate what parts you will need. Best option is to use a P28 ecu and get OBD0-OBD1 wiring conversion harness.
