ok, someone explain to me what all this 2nd and 3rd and 4th generation stuff means? im new to the honda cars, been busy with nissans for a while and fords and chevys and oldsmobiles so now im trying to understand hondas. im seeing 5th generations mentioned as well. i know im not that old that 5 generations of cars have passed by so can someone kinda clear my head a bit.

 

just means the years since the accords were first made. Honda makes a new body style every 4 years. (i.e. 4th gen is 90-93, 5th gen is 94-97 and so on.)

 

i see, so i must have a 4th generation accord. well thanks for the info, atleast i wont come off like a complete dummy, only half!!
