Car Running Rich After Sitting.....
As some of you may know, my car has been at the body shop for about 2 months. Pictures will soon follow..It was well worth it. Anyhow, while driving the car home I noticed that the A/F meter showed full rich. My question is what could be wrong, is it just really loaded up from being pulled in and out of the shop or could something else be the culprit? Thanks for the help everyone.

that a/f guage is nothing but bling factor when it comes to REALLY telling how your car is running , your car still might be running just fine.....just a thought
I think I might have the same problem.
My car has been in a body shop for about a month just sittin there when they called me and said they cannot start my car, when we got there we changed the plugs and it rain EXTREMELY rich, black carbon spitting out of my exhaust and I was at 46spi fuel pressure.

yeah it is weird because I asked the body shop if they had anything unhooked that would cause this and they said, no. Oh well it is better to be rich for now. I have to get some plugs and giver her a tuneup i guess. Any other suggestions?

I'm over 99% sure it isn't foul play from my body shop.
What ECU are you running?
I got a JUN Type-R p28, OBD1.
What we did was changed the plugs and changed back to my stock p2t and it finally turned over...idling at freakin 2k.

yeah, I know they were not messing with my car either, it only had about 4 miles put on in the 2 months it was at the shop. I think that it probably got really loaded up with them pulling it in and out of the garage. IDK As soon as I find some time I am gonna change out the plugs and see what happens from there. Unfortunately I was unable to tell if the car was running 100% because it was rainy + Sleet + No inspection on the way home.
