Just like it says I wanted to know if the rear bumper lip from the 99-00 civic si will fit on a 95 civic coupe--if not what possible mods would have to be done. I have seen the front lips fitted for the front bumper although the sides hang off a little but that is all I have seen in these threads.

 

i really doubt it because the 99-00 rear bumpers is much more sqaure and the 92-95 rear bumper goes back under the car at the bottom, but i guess anything is possible, personally i think that rear lips look terrible on 92-95 coupes, thats what i have

 

Thanks.....yeah I wanted to stray away from the aftermarket lips since they either look too big or come off the bumper at a reverse angle (like the small stock integrated thing--if you wanna call that a lip). As far as lips are concerned I guess I will just stick with my stock look or maybe add the ex lip since mine doesn't have that.

Thats just it, originally I wanted that mugen lip/fake from jdmshit.com but then I didnt know how it would look with oem side skirts and then a naked rear. So I thought about the ek lip and those sideskirts as well.

 

my ek sides are in the mail , i think i will end up gettin the factory ex/si lip but i dont think that the mugen one hangs down all that far so it would probably look ok

 

True, it {mugen}especially would look good with those ek sides.....but you are leaving the rear bumper alone?

 

yea to me there are no rear bumper upgrades that look good on 92-95 i think that it looks good stock

ok i should be getting them by next week sometime but i may not have them on for about another week, got a full time job kinda hard to make time, ill send you a pic when they are on though... there are some pics on here somewhere of them on a hatch i will see if i can find them
