hope he does well.
hope he does well.
Does anyone know how good his team is compared to the others? I'm curious how that car (the super speedway variant of it) usually does in the regular season. I hope he will do well, but at least from my very limited perspective, at a place like daytona this would only happen if he's in a fast car. A completely ignorant question I know, but at such a place, other than knowing who to draft and when, how else is one driver able to "out drive" the other? I really am trying to understand!
Go Boris

my take on it is he is on an 'average' team (if you can even consider a full function Cup team average)
At the 'speedway' events, most of the race comes down to drafting, and choosing your partner in this dance wisely. Boris has yet to establish himself as a 'force' in the draft, and I feel he will be left behind in short order, not to take away from his ability. This is the path all rookies (
i laugh saying that about boris) take...i see nothing to change that fact .
*cough* Newman will own all this year anyway *cough*

I think I heard that he was third in the first Shootout practice and 13th (or 15th?) in the second. His stated goal is to "not suck."
"You know that guy who loses the draft and you see him running around all by himself? I don't want to be him" - or words to that effect.
