Bought PG7 Ecu,need help, better with nitrous?
I havent driven my car yet. But I dropped in a sohc zc and I hear the oem pm6 ecu will give me still only a 6800 redline?
SO if I install this pg7 from an 88-89 teg USDM it will increase my redline to 7500 safely right?
And also give me a bit more fuel right?
The extra rpm will definetely help me when Im spraying
Need some info

Why would the extra RPM help with spray? If anything, it could compromise reliability. I would just run a PM6 if I were you. A PG7 would probably be too rich.
Rich would be good for nitrous...well for safety anyway...just a thought. Every ZC that I have seen running on a PM6 ran like **** so I would be a bit leary.
Ya I am definetely interested in the increased redline just because I cant get more out of the gears which I love and rich is defintely a good thing for nitrous on stock pump and injectors
ANy other opinions?

Havent completely decided on buying it yet.
I want it yes, but Im sure as hell short of cash and need money for body work but if I can have something that will really help my car drive better and have a less of a chance of running lean during nitrous. Would help soooo much

I've seen 5 or 6 on PM6's and only a one of them actually ran good. I don't know if it is just a strange quincidence that all of them were shitty motors or installs or whatever but all the ones that I have seen running on the PG7 seem to do better.
If anyone has a PG7 for sale please IM me I have a customer looking for one!
