New Toy!
Well guys, here it is.

What you're looking at is a 2002 RM 125. I just purchased this from a friend of mine last Saturday. I took a trip down south to LA to get it and it was worth it. The bike I was riding before was a 1984 YZ 250, so this is a definite improvement. It's not quite as fast as the 250, but this is no ordinary 125. The suspension is by far the best part of the bike, I can sacrifice a bit of low end grunt for the ability to fly around corners faster than I ever have before. The bike came from a pro rider and was set up for a guy who is 5' 11" 160, so it's set up pretty good for me. I am 6' 165.
The bike is far from stock. The entire motor was built by Varner. It has a Hinson Clutch and clutch basket, full Pro Circuit suspension, Pro Circuit triple clamp and bar clamp, Pro Circuit Works pipe. There are still some things I don't know about it though. I know it has performance reeds but I'm not sure what kind and I am not exactly sure what Varner did to the motor. I am trying to find all that stuff out still.
All I can tell you is this is the fastest 125 I have ever ridden. I was skeptical when the guy offered to sell me the bike, I really didn't think a 125 would have enough power. Now that I have ridden the bike a few times I can safely say that I can ride just as fast if not faster on this new bike.
Bottom Line - I am ******* stoked on this bike.
Here is one picture I got yesterday, I would have got some cooler bigger air pictures had the big MX track been dry, but it was slick and not too safe. This is the smaller track that they have at Hollister hills. It's just a little table top.

Do not laugh at my air

Hey Z, do you have access to any engines? I need an engine for my ysr50 since the yz80 thats in it has a shot trans. anything would do, aircooled preferred but it has to be a 2 stroke

I must have a spin on a MX bike at some point.......looks like a trip to CA.
Its the same with every bike these days, old school CR500's would get a kicking from a 125/250 as engineers understand how to make bikes lap quicker not just more powerful.
Cool bike.

Come one over and I'll take you riding, you can ride my 84 YZ250
I rode the bike 3 days out of the last 4 days, and I just absolutely love it. I kicked the **** out of my buddies 97 KX 250 all weekend on this bike, there is no catching this RM in the tight woods. It feels more like a mountain bike than a dirtbike. The straight line acceleration is the only thing the 250's have on me, but I still managed to take out the 250 on the flat track. Also put quite a hurting on an 03 CRF230. I just love this bike.
stockcrix1616- Very nice man! That is one sick quad. I hope to get into some type of racing on this bike soon. I'll probably do a few hare scrambles in the near future.
Thanks for all the comments

I have a 1980 YZ465 motor, but I don't think it will fit and you'll probably kill yourself with it even if it did fit. It makes somethign like 50hp. LOL! Can you imagine?

Jesus dude, what the hell is that?
I am not sure what we are going to do with the bike, it's actually my brothers and I think he's looking to get rid of it, but it's a whole bike not just the motor and it is air cooled. I'll ask him what he wants for it if you're serious though.
