Ok so next week on the 12th I leave for Japan for 11 days and Ill be hitting up the Fukuoka auto salon. Im going to take mad pictures and some video and post em just like I did last year. Im seeing if theres anything in particular that people want to see from Japan.

First and foremost this is a TECHNICAL forum. This means that people should be able to gather various info such as how to findpart numbers, where to find parts, specifications, and basically any general info. Does this mean that every single topic has to be a how to find or list part numbers or specs? No, but I hope that the majority of them are.

But this thread contains NO TECH whatsoever. I'm not going to argue over this, as I'm not a mod, but this is the kind of junk that clutters up the forum. Sadly threads such as these, and "hey look at my car y0!" get more replies than any of the tech threads.

 

Oh also directly from the guidelines

dude Ive contributed all sorts of tech info to these forums. mabe not as much as some other people but I have poseted several useful how tos that lots of people have found useful so cut some slack to a brother.

 

Agian, not trying to argue with you over this. You've been here almost as long as I have and should know how things work by now. Stuff like this belongs in GDD, not in here. End of story. And yes, you may have contributed but just like in the real world, it doesn't matter how much stuff you may contributed in the past. If you get pulled over by the police and have dont a bunch of community service for the past year, then rob a bank they still don't let that slide.

EDIT: And I know I'm not a mod and this technically is'nt my business. I'm just trying to help Tom out a bit, as he does not get payed for all the time he sits on here to babysit us.

 

Dude thats fine I can understand your position on this. I was just thinking Id get some input from the users on stuff theyd like to see from japan since its not everyday that someone takes the trip over from the boards.

Definetlly do pics of the mc' donalds over there. An pics of their menu's. An when you check out some of the stores take some of them. I'm currious as to what odd products they carry that we cant get over here.

If you go to any sakagura (sake breweries) then pictures of that, you know like take a tour or something. That is if you even like the stuff, sorry I do..........

but aside from that everyone has named more of the more interesting cars you would think of.......I would like some pictures of more unique cars like those little 300cc engined ones, ones that most of us have never heard of.
