Default What to do with a 1983 Accord

I bought my car late last yr and till this date have not done anything to it, except for new stereo system. I havent heard much about such an early honda in Australia, where i live, so i have come here to find any info i can. I want to lower it, prob using springs as i doubt i could find a bodykit off the shelf so to speak. It already has a semi aftermarket exahust, its not standard and its not performance, bigger tip than usual, cheapy one though, and the muffler gurgles which sounds awesome in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Ive alreayd put a new head unit in, 4" + tweeters in the front and soem 6x9's in the back, so stereo wise im sorted for the moment. Budget wise not sure, but atm im looking for info. I am sort of looking to do an engine swap, it has a 1.6L SOHC non vtec 75hp BEAST in it, jk, but it would be nice to have something in her that performs better. The only engine swap ive seen is in America, where someone put a 170hp motor in the same exact car as mine. As i found this on car-survey i cant find out anymore info about this. ATM i'd rather spend money on looks than perfromance.

Oh and its a 3dr.

Cheers for any help,

OrionAkord.

maybe he meant airbags, i dunno...but you should be able to swap some b series stuff into with money and time if you wanted.......wouldn't be easy, but there is room and it wouldn't be too bad

There is tons of swap info on the 3rd gen http://www.3geez.com I would say save the dinero and go with a b18 or b16. Welcome aboard mate And bagged means put it on airbags (suspension) cuz he is a sTunNA jp

M4d stunnage y0. Yeah, just about the only thing you could do to a car that doesn't have a huge following is retro fit adjustable suspension on it. Isn't too hard with the products they have today.
