Hey guys, I have searched for like 20 mins and have found very few things on all motor ls setups. If you want could you be kind enough to post your ALL MOTOR LS setup, NO TURBO, NO VTECand maybe some accompianing dyno numbers? I know already a bunch of you are going to say something like "ls vtec is better", if that is you just sit back and be a good little boy or girl and be quiet, its time for the all motor ls people to shine.

Dude, there are a TON of all motor LS topics. Make sure to use the widest search field possible when searching to find maximum topics. Anyways though, I am going the all motor LS route. I currently have a p/p head w/ 3 angle valve job, crower stage 3 cams, crower springs and retainers, ported and matched intake manifold, and I am trying to decide on a good/cheap header. I also have an SAFC and an FPR. All of these parts are sitting in my room waiting to be put on. I am going to use CTR pistons for a compression bump, and when it is all tuned and running, I am hoping for 160-170 whp and at least 135 tq. Should be a VERY fun setup on the street with all the torque.

 

its becuase the search engine doesnt pick up "ls" since it has only 2 letters.

 

I have a newer ls head that has completely been rebuilt 6k miles ago (new seals, valves, etc.). The head has been milled .03" and is in great shape. Comes with crower 404 cams, springs, retainers. Made 164whp with 10.8:1 CR, skunk2 IM, and crappy dc 4-2-1 header. It's for sale or work out trade for a b16 or gsr head.

 

There is some really good info here. You can do alot with the Non Vtec engines.

pyr had a all motor non vtec race car that was running 12.5s with just headwork and cams...kinda cool
