hey guys im gonna be getting a d16 put into my 91 dx, the shop tells me to leave the dx tranny in cause it'll work better. is that tru??? i wanted to go with a hydro, but not sure what he's gonna charge for it. Anyways let me know if the dx 5speed will work good with the d16 . thanks

 

If at all possible, get a cable Si D-series tranny to go with your D16. If you can't, then sticking with the DX tranny will be your best option. Converting over to hydro wouldn't be worth the extra money or time, at least for a D-series.
