REAR WHEEL BEARING REPLACEMENT
Anyone ever had to replace the rear hub bearing assembly?
Looks pretty straightforward enough. Anything I should know before I do it, like greasing specific areas or being careful when removing certain parts?

If you have rear drum brakes theres not much to do alll you have to do is pull off the rear drum , take off the big nut, slide off the hub and slide on the new one.
Might be the easiest job you ever do on your car

the only problem you might run into is the inner race being siezed onto the spindle, which might take some coaxing and leveraging to get it to come out. try to use some penetrant like PB blaster or at worst case get a bearing puller. or, just reuse the inner race if youre really desparate. otherwise yes, easy.
I've never done the wheel bearings on my car but I did the front wheel bearings on a 4x4 4Runner. No way a Civic one could ever be as big of a pain in the *** as a 4x4.

was it easy enough to take off the 32mm nut with the car lifted in the air, or did you take off the dustshield, put the wheel back on and loosen it off while the car was on the ground?
also how did you know you need a new rear wheel bearing? i think i need it done, cause im getting this very loud noise coming from the back, and when i jerk my wheel i can make it the noise softer and louder...
