has anyone dynoed the 2.2 liter s2k yet?
Yeah dude They produce about 210.3rwhp and 146.9rwtq.. Compared with a 03 S2000 which put down 205.6rwhp and 136.7rwtq.. Also they did a drag conparsion and the 2003 S2000 was actually posting higher trap speeds in the 99mph range with the 2004 posting mostly 98mph range. But the 2004 was running 13.90s and the 2003 was posting 14.10s area.. Both vehicles where basiclly new and completely stock.. Each had about 3000miles or so. I found it online somewhere, sorry lost the link my Internet crashed before I had a chance to copy the link..

that's a first i've EVER heard a s2k going 13.7 stock. i only seen 13.8 and that's with 7k drops. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by JDMKID35 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">they may say 2.2 is faster in the 1/4 but just with a aem cai i went 13.6 in my 03 s2k so it is all bout the driver...even tho the 04 is a 2.2 still only red lines @ 8k..Booooooo... i also agree with the pple who commented about this.. you probably have NO clue wat the new k series ivtec cars can do. for ex: remmeber the old b-seriees h/i/e setups that everyone 'had' to get which barely yielded 10hp to the wheels? well, the new k series all u need is a header to make 10whp. that ain't technology/honda improvements ? then i dont know what is.
also, the redline just eliminates some of the 'fun' of racing to 9kredline, but the 04 s2k is no joke, and can outrun a 2.0L s2k. lower the redline also aided the much needed tq band, which i've read/heard was great.
