Type R #'s
I need help. I just bought a used 00' PY ITR and im curious to find the number. For some reason its not on the badge on the armrest, so i was wondering if anyone knew if there was another way to find out. I think it might be # 595 because the original window sticker that came with it says that the engine code is B18C5-7300595. If there is any other way of finding this out can someone help me figure it out please? Id greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
There's no way to find the exact number that was on your armrest.
There are many threads that went into depth with block numbers and badge numbers.... they don't match up often, usually they are in the same 'range' of numbers.
i'm afraid there is no way to be sure....

ITR badge #s were never documented by Acura...
the only way to tell which # you have is on the badge
why doesn't your's have a number...did the seller tell you?

Its got the badge on it, but it doesnt look like the number is on the badge at all. I asked the previous owner what number it was before i bought it and he said he didnt know because he wasnt near the car. I never followed up again with him to ask.
