For the most part, yeah.

plano honda regularly gets ST1100s with 65k or more. seen one at 108k.
those bike engines are specifically built more like car engines though.
i dont know the highest mileage on a sportbike like a 900/929/954RR...they usually get wadded up before 30k miles. really.
most bike manufacturers are using some type of electroplating on the cylinder walls nowadays...to lower friction etc. i dont know how this affects engine life or ring wear. i have a suspicion though that they know most bikes get tossed and wrecked so i would bet that this technology doesnt lend to super long engine life but is more for higher performance.
even though cylinder wall plating is probably getting used more in cars, only a few car engines have used the technology for long, i know honda preludes used somethign called nikasil which i think has only had mixed results in super high mileage examples.

actually h22a's use a FRM material. for some reason it doesn't mix well with forged pistons. that's why peeps with h22a's usually sleeve before putting in forged slugs.

falcon- my buddy Ryan

put about 80K (daily driving, a three-day trip from Blacksburg VA to Key West FL, followed two weeks later by a trip from VA to Prince Edward Island, Canada, followed six weeks later by a trip from VA to Juno (yeah, Alaska) by way of San Padre Island and back by way of Sturgis, SD)
on his ST1100

before hitting one of these
and doing this

He was on this way through the dessert in Nevada at three in the morning doing about 90 mph, coming back from LA. He's also got a record for one of the fastest 50CC (Coast to Coast in under 50 hours; his time was something like 26:30) Not bad mileage for a bike he only rode for 2 years.
Anyway- let that be a lesson to you all: WEAR YOUR HELMET AND PROTECTIVE GEAR!!

We have a consignment 80s Gs550 with over 900,000 miles on it. The owner uses it to travel to New York and back every year since he bought it new.
