ok my brothers gfs car is ******* up. said has to be jumped to start, but got alt and batt. checked. both good. all plugs are getting spark. itll rev up and down and eventually turn off.
told him to check the ecu but he cant find it
then told him to pull the fuse under the hood to reset it to see if it did anything.

what could it be?

The Ecu is on the passenger side floor board underneath the carpet, from what I remember. Who checked the alternator and battery? Were they reputable? You say the car revs up and down and eventually shuts off, so it doesnt stay running? If it doesnt stay running you could have a bad distributer, but then again you say it is getting spark.....hmmmm. Did it sit for a long time without being ran? It could have bad gas or the fuel filter could be clogged. It could be any number of things. Wow I guess I wasnt that much help. Sorry
