Default MAINT REGO on cluster what could it mean need help ASAP

at first it would come on when i would start the car but today it was on and would not go off
i already seached but i did not come up with anything

PLEASE HELP
i might just be in my head but my gsr has running like **** lately

That's the Mainenance Required light. Pay it little mind, reset it, or remove it. All it does is indicate, on preset intervals, when the car should be serviced. Give your car a good tune up, it should run better.

if so whoo big relief off my sholders i'll reset the ECU tommorow
i do need a tune up tho

Or you can pull the gauge cluster (takes about three minutes) and just remove the bulb that lights it up.

under the panel below the steering wheel, there is a box with a button, just reach ur right hand below, it should be on the right side just behind the fold of the panel, a little switch just push it in ( kinda like a nintendo button) and it will reset, just put ur car on ACC power and press that button, the maintenance light will disappear...
