what are your views on this tire?

 

Im running these tires on my teg for the winter time and they grip very well in the rain but not so much in the snow. I think that they are a very good all weather preformance tire and have great ride quality. all around a good tire for the price.

im looking to do a few autocrosses and some drag racing but i have to travel 100-200 miles one way to autocross and drag race. im debating from the Falken Ziex 512 or azenis but azensi dont have good tread wear so i dont know?

 

i currently have them on my integra. i like them, but ur right, they dont have much grip in the snow. my advice would be to save and get some Azenis.

 

im from ND so we get lots of snow here to so im not sure

 

Me. Good dry and wet traction. No snow in San Diego so snow traction not palpable. Very very quiet tires.

 

I dont know man its kind of a toss up u could run the Ziex on the way there with the Azenis on the back and just rotate them when u get there it wont put as much wear on the azenis if they are on the rear wheels and just keep the ziex on when ur on the highway? just a thought.

what's up dude. i've got em the ziexs on my 17s, and i had the azenis on my stocks, and really, i never noticed a whole lot of difference. the azenis are a little harder than the ziex. hopefully that'll help having an opinion from the same exact climate . but of course in the end, it's your choice mang

Get the Azenis. If you're gonna auto-x, and even if you drive hard around the street, you won't find a better tire. I LOOOOOOVE mine. It's not even a question using them in the snow of course.
