ok, what i need you guys to do is if youve dyno'd your B18C1 with skunk stage 1's, please post your gear settings.
now i know that every engine is different but im haveing my car wideband tuned with no dyno so if most of you have generally the same settings, that helps a big deal. thanks

 

Comparing gear settings is pointless unless you know both sets are degreed in properly to properly accomodate milled decks or other discrepancies.

You should be comparing lobe center angle or opening angle to make the comparison more accurate.

I'd give you the cam settings that made good power on Robbie's car, but I don't think the cam was sync'd with the crank or distributor key properly when they were put in even tho all the cam and crank timing marks lined up just fine. The distributor required quite a bit of advance angle to get it to hit 17 deg BTDC...which leads me to believe the cam and/or cam gears are out of whack. I won't know until I go back and find the cause. Until then, it'd be pointless for me to give out the gear settings I used on his car.
