Default Smoked Tails help

I have a black EJ1 (94 EX Coupe), I currently have clear tail lights on them. Since my car is black, I'd like to smoke the tail lights... Is there any spray I could buy? How would I go about doing something like that? I want to stay away from baking my tails.

haha. How many coats should I use? Will the amber/red lights be able to shine through? I want these babies to be as dark as my car, will I be able to get them that dark?

my friend did that to some oem tails he had on his del sol once....the tails were just as black as the car its self, and yes you could see the red through the tint.....not really my style to fu*k up a perfectly good set of oem tail lights.....but hey its better than euros.........i guess??

My spray stuff came yesterday, after school I'm going to go buy some Krylon, to use for a clear coat. I'll post some before and after pics, when I'm done.
