Default Type R Pistion in LS

I have a B18B with type R Pistion, JE Rings, Stock B18 Rods, Block Guard, and the B18B head ported and polished. Will the Type R Pistion be good for this motor or not. and why

Your piston choice should depend upon what the proper compression ratio is for the cams you are running, and the amount of power you want to make. It also depends on whether the pistons are the P73 (Integra Type R) or PCT (Civic Type R) pistons. There are huge differences between the two.

sounds like an ok setup but i would go with the highest compression possible........either B16B or CTR pistons.

and why JE rings?.........the OEM ones will work perfectly fine with those OEM pistons.
