I think i just blew my engine in my 90 CRX Si. Now that is engine is done, how much do you guys think is reasonable to ask for? The body is clean and the interior needs a little work. Mileage is about 135,000. Overall pretty clean car except the engine being done.

Well i'm not serious about selling, i just wanted to get a general idea on how much i can get for my car IF i were to try to sell it with a blown engine.

It depends, you don't give location nor do we have pics to make a guess.

i just sold an 88 dx for $200 with a seized motor, i could have got more but i just wanted it gone.

 

Couple hundred most likely...no pics is hard to tell. I'd say toss it up for like $400.

i bought my 88 Si, with a blown motor for 400, body had rust tho, and interior was gutted. i should have paid less, but it came with integra RIMs, and AEM CAI, short shifter, altezza's, and new tires.. so i think it was worth it

 

I just bought a decent CRX DX no rust, interior wasn't great, paint was fading, engine sezied for $250

 

So it's smarter to replace the engine and get a couple thousand more and sell it running right? Everyone agree?
