something doesn't look right. I don't know ... what does the green tag say? also the numbers below the bar code?
Yep, that's a USDM Integra Type R transmission. If you'll look at the bar code and you'll see where it says S80.
EDIT: Also look at the Green VIN number plate, the first 8 digits will be JH4DC231, this tells you that it's real.

you can use any hydro case
they are all labled s80 or y80
mostly s80
a b18 tranny case should work fine
think about it the usdm itr and b16 tranny have the exact same gearing
the only difference between the two is the fact that the itr has a LSD
b16 gear ratios
1st-3.230
2nd-2.105
3rd-1.458
4th-1.107
5th-0.848
final drive-4.400
ITR tranny
1st-3.230
2nd-2.105
3rd-1.458
4th-1.107
5th-0.848
final drive usdm-4.400
final drive jdm-4.785
they are IDENTICAL minus LSD

I believe they have the same gearing, or damn close, but the final drives are different... You can't just put an ITR LSD in a B16 tranny without changing the ring gear and final drive... The B16 has a 4.266 FD if I'm not mistaken...

you are incorrect sir
i will give you a link to verify for yourself
http://autocrossing.com/cgi-bin/gearcalc.cgi
the ring gear and final of the usdm itr is identical to the b16 tranny

almost right
the gear ratio itself is the same
but the ring gear is not
you will need a gsr/itr ring gear to make the itr lsd fit b16 transmission

i now post to correct myself
my CTR tranny says R4 LSD
i have been told a gsr has a bigger diff. than a b16, so for my cracked CTR case, all i can use use is a b16
so can someone WHO ACTUALLY KNOW FOR SURE let me know what outer cases will fit my CTR..i know it's gotta be hydro, just what models can i use?
