The suspension of 1st and 2nd-gen CRXes are completely different.
The 1st-gen uses a torsion-beam front setup with a solid beam axle in the rear. The 2nd-gen uses double wishbones in the front and has a multi-link independent rear setup.
Try http://ww.redpepperracing.com for 1st-gen CRX help. Thay have a lot of valuable information there.
