ecu fuse keeps blowing
hey, im using a 91 ecu with a 95 ls motor in a 91 h/b Si, so does that hurts performance? also i purchased a ecu wire harness coverter kit from place racing so i can run a 95 ls obd1 ecu, but everytime i turn the key over one click, the ecu fuse blows with the 95 b18b ecu, i dont know why it does it, right now im running a 91 non-obd ls distributer and i also have the injector resistor, and theres this one 2 wire plug on the back of the motor that doesnt go any where. and sugestions on why i blow a ecu fuse. i called place racing and they said that they are %110 positive that they have the right connections, and they re checked it 5 time before sending it out to me, I HATE WIRES, so any sugestions? thank you
I guess I may be a little behind on my info. But I did not know you could run a SOHC motor ECU with a DOHC motor. All the ignition/timing points etc. are different. Or so i though

Blown90hatch is most likekly right, I would not think the ecu would affect your setup as much as you would think. I have heard some stories about the harnesses.
