Detail is key.

Have you gave this buyer/seller enough time or are you just rushing it and think you might be.

Post the situation and post this in the classifieds as well

Goodluck bro

yea its been enough time, been over a month since i paid for it.

was on ebay, i talked to the guy and bought it out from the bidders. the guy said he had put a lot of money putting it together but was now going through money problems, so thats why he had to sell it cheap (3500) paid through personal check, guy was pretty good about returning emails. after about a week or two of not hearing from him, he tells me that his grandmother was in the hospital. ok understandable. Then about a week or two later he says that he fell off a shelf at work and injured his back. Says his friends were going to take care of it for him.

Either this guy has the worst luck, or hes trying to scam me. either way i haven't heard from him in over a week.

Get on this **** before it disappears like yesterdays garbage. Key thing here is to collect all the info you have and immediately start checking things out. Even if the guy is giving you word that it was shipped, you tell him you want info like tracking #'s or in this case a BOL Bill of Laiding. Contact ebay and express concern to them. Thats most often going to take the longest so do what you can. It may be a good idea for you to get this guys address and pay him or have someone else pay him a visit. The longer you wait though the more time he has to cover up the scam. Good Luck and let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

My guess is he's full of ****. Pfieffdog posted this on the local forum, so hopefully he'll see that and get ahold of you. If he is scamming you, I'm sure there's plenty of H-T guys in this area that will take care of it for you.

hahahahah he would prolly whoop your ***, he is not a small guy. and being the accomplished racer he is at the fonda speedway, i doubt he would shy away from fighting anyone.

I have meet him, know of him and i doubt he is scamming you. He has alot of **** forsale from what i have heard and prolly has going on besides.

I think posting a thread about someone not contacting you after a week is a little premature. If you had stayed in the bounds of ebay you would not be having this problem. or you would seing that i got fucked on a 03 gsxr fairing i paid for and ebay told me tough ****

Did you read the guys post?

I'd be pissed to if I kept getting all these excuses. He paid upfront so as soon as the check cleared Joe should have shipped it out. The "grandmother is sick" excuse I would have went along with, but falling off a shelf at work? C'mon man who's gonna buy into that one?

Right....... he races... so that means he boxes and gets in street fights all the time..... yep.... thats it.

Or he could just call the cops on him... and they can beat him with night sticks... that would be funnier.

You have obiously never been a regular in the fonda speedway pits, being a racer you either fight or catch an asswhoopin. I think there was atleast 1 fight each feature on some nights. You can ask anyone who races there, you wont make it as a crew/driver if your not going to stand up for your self. b/c when they come in groups of 15+to fight there not going to leave happy with a "Im sorry did i cut you off and put you 20g+ race car in to a wall" I will be more carefull next time.

Its part of racing, its not just guys either. some older woman beat this 16+year old kids *** in to the ground for calling her a ****.

You should go sometime and just watch what happens. well worth $$
