Default Getting ready to paint interior & ZC questions

Alright, I'm getting ready to paint my interior, and I was wondering a few things:

1) How hard is it remove the door panels and dashboard?
2) has anyone done any custom work to their center console? (like turn it into a cd holder, or molded it completely flat, threw gauges in it, etc)
3) Would a 91 CRX Dashboard fit into an 89? Would I need to do any mods or is it a perfect swap?

As for the ZC:
I believe I have the DOHC engine (I'll need to check - I feel really dumb for not knowing :\ ), si tranny, and ZC ecu. What is govenor set at for this set up? I heard 112, but I see people posting higher speeds, so I dunno if they have a mod'd ecu or what. Also, I have the SI ecu, should I swap it in and take the ZC out? What differences are between these 2 ecus?

Thanks in advanced :-D

dohc and sohc zc would be pretty obvious to see what you got. dohc zc looks like a ls. sohc zc looks like an a6.

1. door panels come off pretty easy. look for screws on it and there'll be clips too. as for the dashboard, i do know that it's a bitch to remove. i have never taken one off though.

2. took out my climate control and will be putting some ABS plastic there for right now to clean things up a bit. maybe a safc would look good right there. or boost and a/f ratio gauges.

3. it should. i believe it's the same dash with exception of the cluster cover 88-89 being squarish, 90-91 being round. it should bolt right on but don't quote me on that.

zc ecu is governed at 112 mph. has better fuel curve than the pm6. pm7 also has a redline of 7200. pm6 does not run as aggressive. i believe the redline is 6800. i say leave the zc in there. if you plan on going over 112mph then just chip it. good luck.

fuel cut-off on JDM ZC ECU PM7 is at 7600rpm, speed limiter at about 109mph - get 88-89 USDM Integra PG7 ECU - same as PM7 with no speed limiter

One quick way to see if you have the DOHC ZC or the SOHC,check how many cams you got, Which ecu were you looking for? And why do you not want a govenor?

I believe its a DOCH, still haven't fixed the hood to actually look at the engine yet. Anyways, I just want something that doesn't limit my speed as well as have the check engine light on. I found an 89 integra ECU for $100, so I'm going to get that this week. I can just plug it in with no problems right?
