I've heard mixed reviews about it. Apparently some people can get it to fit great, and others have quite a time getting it to fit at all.

 

I would need to see one in person to tell if it fits good or not. Most people say Nooooo.

my friend got a usdm type r lip from jdmshit.com and i seriously thought it was oem. i dunno if he got lucky and got a good fitting one but hte fitment on it was awesome. the ends seemed to be a little trick to bolt on to the fenderwell since there was no holes but other than that, its pretty decent.

 

Correct me if I am wrong but doesnt jdmshit.com sell actual JDM ****! That lip probably WAS OEM.

Pay the extra 50 bucks and get a OEM or Comptech one...

 

My comptech is running great after 3 years. As long as its Urethane or ABS plastic, the real difference is in the preparation, quality of paint, quality of clear coat and how it is mounted. Seriously, anything that's wearing a fresh coat of paint will look hot. Its over time that you'll see where the scrimping when if you go on the cheap.

 

it wasn't oem. 1, its really thick abs plastic. 2, the ends of the lip where it goes on the fenderwell are thicker and have no drilled holes and C, no bottom bolts or any of the sort...

I bought one from this guy and had no problems at all.

 

i was lookni at that same thing yesterday i was also wonderin the same thing
but it says that it will fit oem 98-01 bumpers without modification
