Remember that post well, i went back to the track got some better time run twice

2rd run good launch 3400 rpm drop the clutch but missed 3rd gear(damn i swear i could hit 14s if i didn't miss 3rd gear)

is the track you run at one of high elevation? Don't take 3rd to fuel cut-off either, shift at around redline to get that extra jolt across the line.
They say the h22a stops accelerating at 7700 rmps if ya hit that or a lil before it. Then when ya shift you can keep it in vtec mode. A5500 rmp drop on stock suspension is way too hard my car just jumps and such..Anyways I am rambling now.
When i leave the line i leave at 900 rpm... I can't get tracktion with any thing higher than that and that still gets me to 14.3 and avg 14.5 all day long.... I have used stocks at 19 psi. 16" and 17" and with 17" i could only leave the line at 1,500 rpm. I need to get some slicks. Any one know of a good company???? If you want to get into the 14 get some weight off that fat B!tch of yours and go with like 1/4 tank of gas.

You definitely need to work on launching at 5,500+ rpms, your losing precious time bogging it at 2K.
Try doing a burn out as well and heat up the tires before you roll up to the line. Use the e brake to hold the car in place while doing the burn out, and once you stage. Once you stage hold the e brake up, raise the revs and feather the clutch out until you can feel it starting to grab slightly.
From there as the tree drops and gets to the last yellow drop the e brake and feather the clutch out, feeling for power and hook up. This will all happen very fast and practice makes perfect.
Before you stage, and after you do a burn out, you might want to do a couple of little test launches before pulling up to the line to make sure your hooking up good.
While doing a burn out you'll know to let the e brake down and let off of the gas once the front tires start to drag the locked back tires.
Just a few pointers.

Also make sure to upshift at an indicated 8K rpms, or wherever is just shy of the limiter in your car, from 1st-2nd, 2nd-3rd and finally 3rd-4th just before you pass through the traps.
