Default Recaro SPG

Will a Sparco slider work on this seat?

The sliding mechanism is typically a separate entity from the mounts that bolt to the seat so the question is actually whether you will be able to bolt Sparco sidemounts to the RECARO or RECARO side mounts to the Sparco slider. I don't KNOW but would guess that one or the other option would work. I drilled holes in my side mounts to get the seat lower than was possible from the factory and also to add another pair of bolts to the slider...

I went from SRD to the zeta 2. SPG are side mount like the zeta which have 3 parts (bracket, slider, side mount brackets).

You can probably use them but might have to redrill holes for the side mounting brackets. If you need a recaro slider I have one for sale. check my sig.

I have a Recaro SPG race shell and im using the Sparco universal side mounts - they work perfect.
I don't see why the Sparco sliders would not work.

Any of you SPG guys want to trade your flat seat cushion for my thick one? I need more headroom and am willing to trade the high-grip version for it...

sorry to bring back up to the dead, but Sparco brackets and sliders will work?

What other bracket choices are there that will fit this seat? I was thinking of going with Wedge, but I heard they sit way too high. Any suggestions? Thanks.

MOST Bottom mounted seats seat high, they just do. I had my recaros on the last holes and they were still too high. Side mounted seats are the shizzle. I had my zeta 2's on the last holes and my *** was on the ground, couldn't see over the steering. I then set them on the second holes and there perfect.

Cliff notes: if you want to seat low, get side mounted seats.

You could always have wedge make custom units for you.
