ok im about to sell my 88 crx si, to get my b16 powered crx hf back on the road.
im dealing with 3000 all together

 

Turbo is the way my son, come to the darkside

 

the only thing holding me back, is i would have to drive without a turbo for a while, with low comp.........and that would suck

 

anybody else

why not just get a b20 block, some pistons and rods?

 

Dart block, dart head, stage 3 cams, bored .20 over, eagle rods, etc.

 

id just swap out the block, gsr, ls or b20, any of um are better than the stock b16 block

aw but none of them have the damn near pefect r\s ratio as the b16.......dont get me wrong i thought my gsr teg (when i had it) was fast as ****. i could only amagine what it would be like in my rex. but i could take that 3k and have a fully built motor for turbo and walk a b18c rex all day long. so that doesnt help me

and yall are helping, its 3 to 3 i kind of wanted a shut out

 

i think its all about how much effort you want to put in .. I think the gsr would be a little more realiable and a little less maitaince effort. but turbo is always awesome.

 

squeeze the boost son
