Default EJ Suspension

My friend has a 1999 Civic EX. I am going to be ordering a more extreme camber kit for my CRX because +1.5 degrees cannot bring me anywhere near Positive camber, so I was wondering if I could give my camber kit to him. I noticed today while we were putting in his new shocks that in order to remove the upper control arm you have to remove the battery and the stock airbox, however on the top of the tower where the CRX would have its upper control arm mounted are two bushings. Could I just remove those two bushings and use my Ingalls camber kit on his EX? In other words, mount the upper control arm from above, not from the sides.
