well the other night i hit a deer and messed up the front end pretty good, so i decided to chip in some extra money and go with a jdm front end and while im at it get some minor rust, dings taken care of and get the whole car repainted, right now its teal and im pretty sure i want to do a full color change on it



i was thinking of painting it a color close to teal but yet different, i wanna keep it around same color so i dont hafta get the engine bay painted, would you do this or just repaint it teal so i dont hafta worry, or fork out the extra 500 for complete color change?

any ideas on colors if i do a full color change , i was thinking a dark green, or theres a bmw color i like thats a dark green/blue

any input is appreciated

well getting your car painted is big bro. cant be cheap with it or you will regret it in the end. I personally say paint it a sexy *** white pearl and get the trim and bay done too. it will be so worth it.

 

get the jdm front; take it to the best paint shop around and NEVER change the color of your car; thats what my daddy taught me

same color reprayed maybe a hint of pearl

so hard to choose a color for you though get into photoshop have a play around with diff colors if you really want to change see what it looks like on your car

 

I'd go away from teal, get a darker green

 

I'd do a whole color change to steel metallic gray. Would look awesome if you had that JDM front you were talking about.

 

Silver. And $500 bux is like nothing. When it comes to paint jobs, you can't go cheap ...

I agree ive seen a few USDM front teg with colors like this, Oem thundergrey metallic, viper grey, stuff like that. All you see day long is white, Black, PY Jdm front teg's. I think ive maybe seen one Metallic grey Jdm front teg, let alone a few Usdm fronts that color. If I ever did a color change it would be something along those lines.

Also no disrespect, but the Teal integra has never grew on me, but i also think its because they only came in the 94-97, tegs, I think a teal 98+ would look ncie, so who knows the Jdm front/teal combo may work out and be original.

but make sure you shave the mouldings and matchpaint the side skirts.

 

either way, jdm front end gets from me

 

well, just went to my buddy who works at a paint shop, there gonna fix my minor rust, shave moldings, shave wing, paint lower rockers, and do complete color change for 2,000 dollars

im putting on the jdm front myself but still, i think thats a good deal, i also am painting my car a house of kolors thats dark gren with a gold pearl

 

like some other people mentioned, i think that a darker green would look really nice... or just keep it the existing color... i've never seen a JDM front on a teal teg.

exactly my thoughts, dont go cheap on paint....you'll regret it in the end.

Just my opinion and I know a lot of people have/like it but I think teal SUCKS! Dark green is cool.....black, silver, white, yellow, it dont matter just not teal

Personally, I think the metallic grey is really really nice, and is the colour i'd choose if I had to..

 

I'd keep it BG-33P. One of the best colors of all time. And plus there aren't very many Integras that color with a JDM frontend.

You know, its amazing how so many people over here who are driving EKs and DC2s are looking for USDM parts ... (like the 98+ USDM DC2 front bumper and USDM EK side mirrors (the non-retractable ones)
