Default ls trans ?

ok my friend has a crx with an LS motor in it. The question is that why do you think its hard to shift in to 2nd? it will work ok in all other gears just kinda hard with 2nd. Is the trans bad or something else?
Thanks

Cable trannies just tend to **** up easier than hydro ones from all my experience... My guess is that it's most likely a worn synchro not synching the gears all the way up or he could have a bent interlock or fork... Most of the time that's what you see go wrong with all trannies...
