+ Red EK Hatch update +
Took quick pictures today. Some stuffs good, some stuffs bad. First the good stuff:
Painted the "H" a red chrome color which looks a lot better. I'm trying to have no chrome on my car.

RSX-S oem muffler which is silent as hell and kicks @ss imo

Thing 2

Tein SS's (Front 11, back 10 for daily driving)

And now some of the not so good
I repainted more red spraypaint on the lip from where the tire weights were removed to be rebalanced and it the new paint started to clot over the old, so the whole lip isn't smoot anymore, but its only noticible up close

This headlights has some brownish stuff on the upper section. Again you gotta be close to see it.

This headlights has been resealed three times and still leaks. I'm giving up on it and just buying some aftermarket ones.

Oh yea, I have a SI gauge cluster and SIR front lip on the way
BTW, I would have taken picture of the stock d16y7 engine
But I had to go here to relieve some stress:

i know its not a "huge thing" but why not get a ctr grille and remove the emblem entirely? or paint it black? the rest of your car is illin like its '87, though.

I've actually been comtemplating this for a while but if I get a grill, I will have to pay a lot of money just to get one little part painted red, so I'm already going with a 99-00 front end conversion once I graduate from college this semester and start my full time job. Right now, all this stuff is just a stage till I actually start making money as a computer science major graduate
Right now its still powered by a completely stock d16y7 engine. Plus I would love to have a 5 lug
Plus I hate the way the CTR grill looks on non black cars unpainted. Looks like you got into an accident where just the grill was hit and they just replaced it and left it unpainted

also, as far as suspension height, thats the lowest I want to go cause I live on a campus with some monstrous speed bumps. Also, my rear camber is in factory specs because of a rear washer kit. And the front is only off by like .5 degrees or something.

how do you like the ss's? hows the ride comfort?
is the 11/10 pretty stiff?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Actually, I love the ride. The complete coilover setup I had before was stiff as hell to me. This one I put on setting 8 on the front and the back like the tein instructions said and it was a little stiffer than stock. I have never rode on setting 1 but I know its gotta be super soft. I have never rode on 16 either
But with the current settings it feels perfect. It like stiff but at the same time, I can still go over hard bumps and stuff without poping in the air or something. I had the back stiffer than the front at first but since the rear of the hatch is so light, the back would be really hard and I would hear a lot of sounds when the back hit bumps so I softened it up a bit. All I need is a type-R rear sway bar and I will be inlove with my suspension.
So, if you got a type-r rear sway bar, si endlinks, and a beaks kit for an ek, i'm interested
