Well i was at the movies and parked the R in the very front, but still some idiot had the ***** to rip off and steal my spoiler from the movies. So now im spoilerless, so if any of you fellow R owners that went wingless or know anyone else willing to sell me one please let me know, i need one asap.

It did a little nothing to serious though, i was pretty lucky.

 

I'm very shocked, when they got Splats wing he needed a whole new hatch..

I wonder how they took it off without damaging the hatch too badly. Probably broke off the pegs.

Someone stole the wing off my GSR a few years back. $800 in damage. They pulled on it so hard it pulled the sheet metal up....what kind of looser steals a GSR wing?

You will probably see it mounted on the roof of an S-10. But really its not a laughing matter. We live in a sad world.

Yes, you were extremely lucky. The theft of my spoiler ruined the hatch. $2000+ repair bill followed.

I'll see if I can find the pics.

R without wing looks horrible, but how come it turned out 2k+ bill? it doesn't look that bad from here

 

When they stole my 98R spoiler, they ripped it clesn out like the black R above, but the left side cracked off causing damage and they didn't even get what they wanted.

Then to add to insult- the body shop replaced it with on with the led

 

New hatch + new wing + paint and labor and that's about right if you want everything painted nicely.

What spoon said.

The edges of the hatch (where mine was dented) cannot be repaired adequately. The only things reused were the hatch glass and wiper assembly. New hatch = $800 part (I can verify tomorrow, still have the estimate), plus paint, plus labor, plus etc...

 

me wants a black oem itr wing for my project itr.
