Default sleeved b20: how much can I overbore?

I'm planning my crvtec build up and I'd like to clear up a few issues...

I was wondering whats the largest bore I could safely run on a B20 block using AEBS sleeves and no more than around 11.5:1 compression (bad gas around here). I was hoping I could overbore it a bit for a little displacement bump.

TIA

From what I've read, no more than 86mm if you still want to have a good seal.

thanks guys... lol, I was thinking in the 85-85.5 neighborhood, I don't want to get too wild. Sounds like that should be OK. Any other issues I should take into consideration doing this?

as for the setup, so far its looking like this:

b20b block, AEBS sleeves, stock crank, gsr crank girdle, eagle rods, haven't decided on the pistons yet (thats sorta what this thread is for), arp head studs, b16 head (stock until I can save up some more)

I'm not looking for anything too wild, just a bottom end I can take to 8200.

Another Q, do I need to trim the head gasket if I have a larger-than-stock bore?

Thanks.

85mm

JE, Wiesco, has off the shelf 85mm forged slugs.

Probe/IB rods, lighter, and much better for NA.

ARP rod bolts and head studs.

Get the rods notched for gsr bearings, run gsr bearings over the ls/b20 ones.

Sponsors marketplace has a special on Cometic heagaskets, check out the post there.

Hope that helps.
