VIR extended racing family member passes away...

I just heard that Charlie Gibson, a vintage racer and one of the founders of Sasco Sports (the race tire dealer & race shop at VIR) passed away last night as a result of a truck accident in Danville.

Thanks for passing along. This is really sad to hear. He was a super nice guy and the only 68 year old that drove a vintage F1 McLaren in the vintage racing series like he stole it...he wasn't scared.
