How long did it take you?

 

Like an hour and a bit more. Gotta draw out all the individual pieces on different layers and fit them together.

 

now make one that isn't phairy yellow

Already done I made this one before the yellow one actually. I took the time to extract the color from other pictures of ITRs so it matches the exact Championship white and Phoenix yellow paints in real life.

wups...lol never thought of it that way; it's supposed to pretty wide tire for extra added traction! (j/p)

Sorta looks like Moofx's car

 

resize painting to about 680x511 and place it next to that photo and it matches.

 

sigh... I remeber someone making a tutorial about how to do this.

 

Yeah I used that car. I drew the outline from it, everything else, coloring I did myself.

If you read the origonal post Adobe Illustrator.

Are you using illustrator on PC or Mac. I am taking a class in college and using it at the moment, the only problem is that its on Mac which I can't stand. Great program though.

Just a quick questine, do you do your work in outline or preview?

 

Macs are better for art purposes but I am a die-hard PC person. That's how I was raised since I was 2 when my mom put me in front of an IBM XT. And YES my Illustrator is a legit copy

The outlines I drew with the pen-tool, every single object with a black outline is a different layer. There's a total of over 50 layers or so. I converted it to a jpeg and I changed the color from CMKY to RGB cause computers only understand RGB coloring.
