ok.. yoshi said this a while back, don't know if it works, as i haven't tried it...
he said that you could run about 3 quarts of automatic transmission fluid in there for about 20 minutes.. the detergents in it would clean out all that gunk.. be sure to change the oil filter when you put the auto fluid in, and when you put regular oil in there.

looks like you have some sludge in there
damn. maybe you could take a rag and try to whip as much of it out as you can that way when you try running that stuff thru there to clean it up there wont be so much to get rid of.

I would be scared that stuff is clogging up an oil leak somewhere.
I have used kerosene, diesel, and seafoam to clean stuff like that. It won't get it all the way clean, but it will get quite a bit of it.

well
my dad said that he has flushed motors b4 and it just messed the motor up most of the time...he dont kno to much about hondas tho, but he said with all the stuff that is caked up in there, the stuff you guys cant see to good will probably just clog the motor cuz its so much. He said that it would be better to take it to a shop and let them take the head apart and clean/rebuild it or w.e they gotta do to get it out of there. But i can get the same motor with a shaved head for 400 dollars and it would probably just be twice as easy to buy the motor with way less miles on it and runs good and not all caked up inside like mine then what it would be to pay for it to be cleaned and rebuilt.....but thanks everyone for the help, and my dad said that the people that had it b4 only changed the oil like 3 or 4 times since they bought it and its only had one owner other then the dealer ship

Yeah, don't try to "flush" all that crud. At the very least take the head apart and clean it; or like you said, get a different motor for a few hundred dollars. Beauty of the d-series...

DONT buy any engine flush ****.. it eats through seal n the motor!!!

use kerosene to flush out the slugde, but i will be very careful though. i would try to flush out the slugde first to see how much you can it out. before you go out and buy you another motor. imo

thats what they put in that engine flush shigt... it eats through your seals and shortens the life on the motor..
