I have B6's on an EG. But it's basically the same. There are 2 sets of springs: Hard and Street. Street spring rates are 10kg in the front 7kg in the rear (Type R is 6kg). Hard is 12kg in the front, 9kg in the rear.
The shocks on the B6 are adjustable too (6 different stiffness, 1 being the softest, 6 being the stiffest). For normal driving I set the stiffness at 2 in the front, 1 in the rear. For "spirited" driving, 2 in the front and 3 or 4 in the rear. With the hard springs it's a bit bumpy as you could feel every bump in the road. When you tackle the curves, it handles great! When you're going on the freeway it starts out a bit bumpy but as you go faster the ride becomes very smooth, almost like gliding.
