Skunk2 Coilover Install problem on DC5...
I am helping my buddy install his skunk2 coilovers on, and we ran into a problem. On the stock shock we do not know how to take off the strut seal cover. Do we remove the top circle part, or the whole seal cover.
Is there a special tool we need? The Skunk2 instructions say to untap it. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it a lot. We are out in the garage trying to figure it out, quick responses would be most helpful.

its the whole seal.
its quite tricky to get off, just keep rotating the strut and it will eventually come up with a screwdriver.
tapping the screwdriver with a hammer might also be useful.

It seems pretty stuck on there, is it safe to try to pry it off with a screw driver? Or are you just talking about the top part of it. The instructions say you should put it back on after putting on the sleeve. TIA -Shawn
