A little OT : 1973 Porsche 2.7L 911 RS: Limited Edition: Spotted at my work.
I see some of those at the local muffler shop time to time. They do lots and lots of Porsche exhausts. I believe my old art teacher's husband has one of those, he races it in the PCA. Unless there is another model with the large carrera graphics and colored wheels. . . is there?

Carrera RS - lightweight homologation race ready model....
Mmmm... :blort:
I do not think the $200K figure is accurate unless it has a significant racing history, and if it did it probably wouldnt be street driven
This is a dream car of mine, and i really want to buy one later in life. That and a 964 RS America
:blort: x 1000000000000000000 thanks for sharing

i loveR me some carrera RS. fake or real, doesnt matter. i still want one.
964 RS America = beasty of a car. i learned how to autox on one of these shod with victoracers, and *still* have problems with over driving everything else i try. after three consecutive runs, you're usually soaked in sweat from the effort required to drive the dman thing.

Such a B-E-A-utiful car...
A friend of mine races the same model and year car in the HSR series. In race trim he reports that it weighs in at a bit over 1800 lbs. Coupled w/ approx. 300 hp under the rear hatch, that sure must be some kind of sweet ride.
Casey, who has Porsche envy

Sorry, its not worth $200,000
I looked at purchasing one (a 74 RS) from the original owner. He wanted $15,000 for a very clean one. To this day he is upset he didn't buy the Ferrari Dino instead of the Porsche in 74.
